Four days are left for members of the public to participate in an online survey about the preferred alignment and interchange configurations for Phase One of the Saskatoon Freeway.
For those who could not attend the February 26 public information session, the online survey is a great opportunity to share thoughts about the northern portion of the Saskatoon Freeway, and specific configurations being proposed for:
- Highway 11, Wanuskewin Road, and Penner Road;
- Highway 12 interchange; and,
- Highway 16 interchange.
Information on each configuration that was shared at the February public information session can be found here.
The online survey will be open until March 13, 2020.
The Saskatoon Freeway Functional Planning Study project team will incorporate feedback from this survey into its final recommendations on the preferred alignment for Phase One. Approval for the northern route is expected to be provided this summer; at that point, the current 500-metre-wide corridor in which land development has been restricted will be reduced to approximately 100 metres.
