We’re inviting the public to come and learn more about proposed designs for Phase 3 of the Saskatoon Freeway Functional Planning Study.
- A virtual open house will run from November 24, 2025 to December 15, 2025. You can visit the online public information session at: https://phase3saskatoonfreewayvoh.ca/
- We are hosting an in-person event on December 4, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at the Saskatoon Inn.
Phase 3 focuses on the western section of the proposed freeway, as shown below.
Once Phase 3 of the Saskatoon Freeway Functional Study is complete, residents and businesses along the freeway corridor will have a better understanding of where and how they may be impacted. This is long-term planning work and the timeline for construction is at least 15 years away.
A second public information session is tentatively planned for spring 2026, which is where we will share final proposed designs that incorporate feedback received through the in-person and virtual public information sessions now underway. We’ll provide updates through our blog.
