Since our last public information sessions in November-December 2025, the project team has been incorporating feedback received to develop recommended functional design concepts for Phase 3. We’ll be sharing these with the public and stakeholders in June 2026 and want to hear what you think!
Phase 3 focuses on the west section of the proposed freeway, shown in dark blue below:

We’ll be offering two opportunities to learn more about the final proposed designs for Phase 3 and provide your input:
- A virtual open house open from June 17 to July 3.
- An in-person event at the Saskatoon Inn on June 25 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At both events, visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions of project experts and share feedback.
As plans are finalized for the June virtual and in-person events, we’ll provide updates through our blog, so stay tuned.
Once Phase 3 of the Saskatoon Freeway Functional Study is complete, residents and businesses along the freeway corridor will have a better understanding of where and how they may be impacted. This is long-term planning work and the timeline for construction is at least 10 to 15 years away.
